We love Rowntree Park. If you do too, then we’d love you to become a Friend!

The Friends of Rowntree Park are a voluntary organisation who help maintain and improve the park, as well as running events for the community.  You can support our work by becoming a member – all membership money goes back into improving the park we all love!

As well as supporting the work of our charity, members also receive:

• 10% off food and drink at Rowntree Park Reading Cafe with your membership card (please note the cafe is run by York Explore and is a separate business)
• Monthly newsletters that keep you up to date with our work and events in the park.
• Discount to some of our events
• The lovely feeling that your money is helping the park we all love!

Membership Options

Basic membership sis £10 a year but we also have various options where you can pay a higher amount and this extra amount is donated to our charity – no additional benefits are provided for donations above the membership fee but the addition donation can be used to claim Gift Aid (see details below).

Once you make a membership payment, you will receive a welcome email in the next 24 hours. This includes a link to a digital membership card that you can use for your cafe discount.

If you’re a UK taxpayer, we can reclaim basic rate tax on your donation. This means we can claim 25p or each £1. Imagine what a difference that could make for us and at no extra cost to you. Available on Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum payments.

Gift Memberships

Gift memberships are also available and you can choose the amount. Once you buy as a gift, you will be sent an activation code to share with the recipient. This make take a few days as it isn’t automated. You can also buy gift memberships with a note card (pick up or we also offer P&P). Donations

If you would like to donate to the Friends of Rowntree Park, you can make a one-off donation of an amount of your choosing.

If you’re a UK taxpayer, we can reclaim basic rate tax on your donation. This means your £10 donation gives our charity and extra £2.50! Imagine what a difference that could make for us and at no extra cost to you. If you’d like to Gift Aid your donation – select to do so below.
