Fun filled events that bring the community together and enhance a love of Rowntree Park
Events run by the Friends of Rowntree Park
The Friends of Rowntree Park offer a range of events throughout the year for all ages. These include a range of family and children’s events such as forest school and nature/eco-based sessions. We also run adult craft and wellbeing sessions, nature walks and have live music in the park when we can.
Some of our events are drop in but others need booking in advance. Please check Facebook for up-to-date information on events.
External events held in Rowntree Park
Anyone can book to use Rowntree Park as an event/activity venue. The Friends of Rowntree Park handle external bookings for the park. As it is a ‘managed’ park, activities have to be booked.
We have had/do have activities including Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, Salsa, Baby Wearing Dance Classes and nature writing groups. These events are booked directly through the event provider/ Links to regular providers are below so you can boom with them.
We also have one-off events including theatre, music events, family fun days, orienteering- and more.
