The Young Friends of Rowntree Park events are aimed at children 5-12 years old approximately. Both members and non-members alike are welcome to attend our events.
Events tend to run throughout the year and have previously included events are activities such as:

- Recycled boat making
- Art sessions
- History Project
- The Lost Word Poetry Project
- Wildflower planting and pot painting
- Rowntree Park Rocks
- Autumn Art
- Christmas Crafts
- Bat Watching
- Halloween Events
- Theatre sessions
- Bird events
Our events are listed on the events page and advertised on Facebook and via posters in the park. Most of our events are ‘drop-in’ but some must be booked in advance. All events are run by volunteers and any profit made goes back into our work in maintaining and improving Rowntree Park.
