The Very Young Friends of Rowntree Park is aimed at children aged 1-5 years old. Through 2026, the group will meet on the first Tuesday of each month for nature-based exploration, play, stories and crafts. Our VYF leads are Nicola and Rose.
The session runs from 10am-11am. The group meet at the story circle in the woods, this is located near to the Cameron Grove/Millennium Bridge entrance to the park. It is a very relaxed and friendly group.
The themes of each session are advertised on Facebook/Instagram. The themes are often linked to the seasons. Each session is only £2.50 a child (members) and £3.50 otherwise.

Anyone can become a member of Friends of Rowntree Park for just £10 a year. If an adult buys a membership then all children in their household come under this membership.
